We want to be transparent with you about some changes coming to the network and the reasoning behind them.
Recent Network Issues
Over the past while, some of you have noticed connection instability, lag spikes, and intermittent downtime. After investigation, we traced the root cause to technical issues on the side of our IP provider. These were infrastructure-level problems outside of our direct control, and we've been working through them to ensure long-term stability rather than applying temporary patches.
SMP Relaunch — A Fresh Start
Rather than continue stacking fixes onto the existing setup, we've made the decision to relaunch the SMP from the ground up. We know a reset is a big ask, so we want to be clear about why this is the right call: it lets us resolve the underlying issues all at once instead of dragging them out over months, and it gives us a clean foundation to build on.

Scheduled Maintenance Downtime
To make all of this happen, the network will go down for a one-time maintenance window. During this period we'll be:
Doing this in a single planned window means we fix everything properly at once, rather than repeated interruptions down the line.
What This Means For You
The server will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance window. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we put in this work — it's all aimed at giving you a smoother, more stable, and more enjoyable experience going forward.

We’re excited to announce that SMP v1.0.1 is now live on DoomMC Survival. This update focuses on improving the player experience, enhancing spawn, and preparing the server for future community events.
